Steven’s New Play LITTLE WARS Will Receive a NYC Workshop…
“Beautiful Soup Theater will present a workshop production of Steven Carl McCasland's Little Wars — starring Kimberly Faye Greenberg as Lillian Hellman — April 23-27 at the Roy Arias Stage II Theatre.
The world premiere is described as such: "In this imagined meeting of the minds, Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas have invited playwright Lillian Hellman, satirist Dorothy Parker and novelist Agatha Christie to their country home in France on a cold March night in 1939. Tensions are high, the booze is flowing and Europe is on the brink of war. When a mysterious woman arrives and prompts their questions, the curious writers expose more of themselves than they've ever put on the page."
